5 Best Practices of Interlinking and their Benefits

You must have come through a lot of articles where you find links in them. Interlinks play a very important role from the point of SEO. I will tell you some best practices of Interlinking and their benefits.

1) A website with good, interlinked webpages makes it easier for its users to find out good, relevant information within itself.
2) It also helps the search engines to crawl it with a better ‘big picture’ of what your website is all about and how it is structured and related with each other.
3) Internal linking is one method that SEO specialists use to distribute good, relevant Page rank to each webpage that are related to each other’s content.
4) The long the visitor waits on the website, the longer is “Website Visit Time”" and the lower the “Bounce Rate”.
5) Inbound links are a great way to rank better. As we all know, the more back-links/inbound links you have, the more Page rank juice you have flowing inside your website.
Below is an Example to get better understanding:
You go to a Book store which has lots of other branches. You’re looking for the “SEO Expert Book” – but they told you that they only have “SEM and SMO Books” in this store and the SEO Expert Book is in the other stores which you have to find out for yourself. Ain’t that a bummer? Why do you have to go to all the other stores just to find the other Books when they own all of those Books anyway? And why can’t they direct you to the other stores instead of you having to look for it yourself?
In the above Scenario, If the Book Store would have given a link for the SEO Expert Book store then it would have made the buyers job easy.
